Matthew Owen

Matt joined Collaborate in April 2016. He is an On Purpose Associate who will be with us on a six-month placement as part of a year long leadership programme for future social entrepreneurs.

He was a Research Associate for the Psychology and Religion Research Group (University of Cambridge) and taught at King’s College School, Wimbledon. Matt went on to gain experience of the Third Sector, most recently as a researcher for the Howard League for Penal Reform’s Campaigns team.

“In a context of budgetary and statutory change, I am excited to be working with organisations that are serious about building better services to the public.  Understanding the experience of service users and brokering partnerships between sectors are central to the Collaborate model. This distinctive approach is having a real impact and I am excited to be part of a team leading innovation into services fit for the future.”
